[To the righteous it will be said], "O reassured soul, (27) Return to your Lord, well-pleased and pleasing [to Him], (28) And enter among My [righteous] servants (29) And enter My Paradise." (30) [Surah Fajr]


Al-Nu’man ibn Bashir reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The parable of the believers in their affection, mercy, and compassion for each other is that of a body. When any limb aches, the whole body reacts with sleeplessness and fever.”


Ibn Masud said: From the greatest of sins is for a man to say to his brother "Fear Allah!" and he responds "Focus on yourself."


Imam Ash-Shafii said: "If the people were to reflect upon Surat al-‘Asr, it would be enough for them."


Narrated `Aisha: Whenever Allah's Messenger became sick, he would recite Mu'awwidhat (Surat Al-Falaq and Surat An- Nas) and then blow his breath over his body. When he became seriously ill, I used to recite (these two Suras) and rub his hands over his body hoping for its blessings.

Narrated Abu Dhaar: I said, "O Allah's Messenger! Which mosque was built first?" He replied, "Al-Masjid-ul-Haram." I asked, "Which (was built) next?" He replied, "Al-Masjid-ul-Aqs-a (i.e. Jerusalem)." I asked, "What was the period in between them?" He replied, "Forty (years)." He then added, "Wherever the time for the prayer comes upon you, perform the prayer, for all the earth is a place of worshipping for you."


Ibn Uthaymeen said: "Good manners earn a person comfort, tranquility, and calmness."


Shaykh Saleh As Shaykh said: "The evil of the innovater is not something that is apparent to the people of Islam."


Umar ibn al-Khattab reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “A chapter has been revealed to me tonight that is more beloved to me than everything over which the sun rises.” Then, the Prophet recited the verse, “Verily, We have granted you a clear victory.” (Surah Fath)

So be patient, [O Muhammad]. Indeed, the promise of Allah is truth. And ask forgiveness for your sin and exalt [Allah] with praise of your Lord in the evening and the morning. (Quran 40:55)


So do not weaken and do not grieve, and you will be superior if you are [true] believers. (Quran 3:139)


Allah's Messenger said: "Whoever recites Ayat al-Kursi at the end of every obligatory prayer, nothing but death will prevent him from entering Paradise."


Imam Ash-Shafii said: "Humility is from the characteristics while arrogance is from the attributes of the depraved. Humility brings about love, and contentment brings about comfort."


Ibn Umar reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Verily, when a servant stands to pray, his sins are placed on top of his head and shoulders. Every time he bows or prostrates, they fall away from him.”
